Journey

Remember?

We embarked on a journey

a journey, just a journey

and it has come to this:

We headed for a light

filtering through the un-

-certain ahead.

Now, by advantage of Vantage,

we call it our future,

what was then our future

which now is this...

a couple more steps

and it will be past or grave.

Actually, our choice 

was wasn't choice -

We were lured into this –

a journey without choice.

Life's span

Look! how the moths fly in at evening's speed;

Just now I was standing, marvelling at the dawn.

Was I standing firm or was I tottering?

I could venture to tell if my legs were only my own.
